Code Blue! Code Blue! The sound of doctors and nurses pierced my ears rush me to the nearest delivery room. As they are rolling me I can feel my child coming half way out! This was one of the scariest feelings in the world, it felt like a pack of slime gushing out of me literally. The pain, sweat, tears you begin to ask yourself is it all worth it? Two minutes had passed and we heard the small cry of a sweet baby boy born at twenty-three weeks, on June 2, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. weighing 1lb. 3o.z., 11.8 in. However, we decided to name him Giovanni Callum Patterson. The devastating news we received as parents was nothing more than hurtful.

About the Author
Greetings! My name is Candace Fox I'm a woman of God, mom to two amazing boys Giovanni & Salathiel, and a substitute teacher. I'm continuing my degree in education and I'm looking forward to future endeavors. I enjoy spending time with my amazing family, writing, reading the word of God and researching. However, Giovanni's mission is to send the parents of little NICU miracles a care packages to assure them they will get through it and they have our family prayers as well.
