About the Book

I am not a licensed therapist or psychologist. I’m just a guy who loves to talk to people and hear their stories. This book delves into the stories I’ve heard, many experiences, cultures, and feelings morphed into my perspective and culminated into this book. Anguish, happiness, loss, and growth are just a few of the emotions written about here.

About the Author

I was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 2001 and later moved to the United States in 2009 in the suburbs off of Chicago. I like to say that I’m a “maker”, I love to create beauty and meaning out of the lives that we live and the world around us. Whether I use my outlets of writing, making music, photography, or simply talking to people, I love to learn and add new ideas to my mind.
