About the Author

KANAK VANAM Kanak Vanam is a ten-year-old girl, who has a passion for reading and writing. Ever since she could remember, she has loved to write. From heartfelt poetry to adventure stories, Kanak Vanam has written numerous tales. She loves to write and has a knack for bringing feelings into her stories, as well as being dramatic. Unlike her co-author, Ann Peng, she is more about feeling and being dramatic rather than being humorous. Her favorite color is red, her favorite food is Biryani, and her favorite thing to do is read. She lives in California, Redwood City with her younger sister, older brother, mom, and dad. ANN PENG Ann Peng is a ten-year-old girl who also has a passion for writing, but unlike her friend and co-author, Kanak Vanam, she does not write poems, rather writing fictional stories. She has a knack for putting some humor into a story and describing people and their looks, not being heartfelt and soft and cheesy and-ok, let’s stop there. Her favorite color is green, her favorite food is noodles, and her favorite thing to do is talk. She lives in the Bay Area in California with her younger brother, older sister, mom, and dad.
