A small tale of a house in a small town called George Ville turns into something big, involving a crime and ghostly activity. In this book, Jake loses control of his life when a mysterious energy from an abandoned blue house leads him toward solving a long-forgotten mystery. A paranormal energy from this house took possession over Jake’s mind and body and didn’t set him free until the truth surfaced. It depends on the individual if they are brave enough to face the truth and suffer the consequences. Jake was brave, he was not afraid to face the consequences of his actions, but some people are not as brave or honest. They will try to hide from their mistakes for as long as they possibly can, no matter how big or small the crime.
About the Author
Farah Velez is a thirty-six- year-old US Army Veteran and the mother of a handsome boy and a beautiful girl. She went to South University to obtain her bachelor's degree in business. She became a member of the National Honor Society and the International Honor Society by achieving and sustaining a 4.00 GPA. Farah’s two children are her motivation and her inspiration behind most of her accomplishments and this book. This book is one of the imaginative stories Farah created to entertain her children. Farah relates to this story because she had moved multiple times in her life and had come across many spooky-looking abandoned houses but not as spooky as the house in this book. Farah worked on this book for six months, and whenever she had a writer’s block, her children brainstormed with her about many different ways to go with the storyline. Her children love this story, and Farah loves the parts when Jake enters the abandoned house for the first time. She loves the details and slower pace of the scene to give it an eerie feeling.
