About the Book

The scars of our pains, hurts, frustrations, and inner-most anger are the bedrocks to the birth of “THE DISFIGURED MASK!” Too often, the chariot of emotional instability is our voice and vessel that unleashes our human-animal within! Irrespective of the color of our skin, like a ticking time bomb we lay await for something, someone to aggravate the anger and hurt that stain like sin. Unveil the masks and you will see, some angry souls in deep misery; for even though we smile so bright in our lives there is no light! I pray that this book, THE DISFIGURED MASK, would be very instrumental in not only taming the “human-animal” within us, but transform our thoughts and actions to be more loving to each other; in our society and domestic relationships!

About the Author

Mr. Ruford Royal Murray, AKA “Mepa,” is a native of Dangriga Town, Belize, Central America. He was born to his parents Ermita Roaches and Robert Edward Murray (both deceased.) Ruford is also blessed with another “mother,” Miss Aloyse Weir, a retired teacher of Stann Creek Ecumenical High School (deceased.) He has a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies (Minor in Political Science) and a Master’s of Arts Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peace Building (both from California State University, Dominquez Hills, Carson, California) through hard work and dedication and with honors! His organizational affiliations include but not limited to: Honored Member of Cambridge WHO’s WHO Registry of Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurs, WHO’s WHO among American Colleges and Universities, Ronald McNair Scholarship Program, Central American Scholarship Program and International Library of Poets. He has authored and published four other books: Africa’s Cry, Flames of Mixed-Emotions, Conflict Resolution Strategies (For All Season,) and The Paradigm Shift (In the Wilderness). He resides in Los Angeles, California.
