"WE ARE FRIENDS" is the title of my children's book. As I watched the squirrels in my yard playing with one another and eating pecans, I created a story. They were so friendly to each other. They would dig holes in the ground and find a nut to drop in the hole. It was so exciting to see them playing with each other. They communicated in their own lanuage. The squirrels would play on the pecan tree as they ran up and down it.

Friendly squirrels is about the story. They played together and they searched for food together. The squirrels had compassion for a lonely, wondering, and fearful squirrel. His mother was kill as she was crossing the street. The six squirrels befriended the lonely squirrel. They stayed together and became good friends.
