About the Book

From the Bronx to Boca is Mimi Sherman’s first attempt at writing a book, and she has risen to the occasion. Her story takes the reader from her early years as a child growing up in the Bronx in New York until the time she moves into the Boca West Country Club. Now as she is approaching her ninety-fifth birthday, still as vibrant and young looking as ever, she allows the readers to share her life’s experiences. Some were sad; some were challenging. But most of all, most were happy ones. She has written the book in the form of questions and answers, which is very unique and original. She is the essence of “the American dream.”
