*Granny warned there are RATS in my hair..... I shook my head and ruffled my hair but not a rat came out of there. Then Gran said, "Child, your hair is wild!" She grabbed a lock of my hair and to my surprise as she pulled through a tangle I saw two eyes! I held my breath, I thought I was choaking. I suddenly realized my hair was croaking. Then out, kerplop, hopped a sticky frog, but no rats, or cats, or even a dog. ....see what happens as Gran continues to tame those tangles!

About the Book
When I was a child my hair would tangle with the breeze of a whisper. On the verge of tears at the mere sight of my brush, Nana would distract me by scolding the wild animals she said were causing my tangles. Years later I used the same distraction for my daughters, and now granddaughters. I have braided this everyday experience into a ridiculous rhyme which I completed after several days of detangling and rebraiding my youngest granddaughter's hair.
