It’s hard to think of me growing up, she was carefree, and joyous. where did it all go downhill? what made me the way i am today? in some ways i hate that little girl, for disappearing and leaving me behind.

Sometimes we struggle through growing up. Going through anxiety, depression, body image issues, and heartbreak. These things are hard to go through, but get even worse when you think you’re alone.
About the Author
Emily Gronski grew up in Fayetteville, north Carolina. She started writing poetry in 2021, her senior year of high school. as someone who battles with depression, anxiety, and other mental struggles, she wishes to share her experiences and help others.
