This autobiography is a run of the mill story telling of my life experiences in America to my granddaughter, Abigail. The anchor of the story is based on the Ubuntu African philosophy embedded within the cultural realism of Sankofa

About the Author

In whatever way your ancestors arrived in the US, whether by boat, ship, by air or by road, the journey is not an easy one. All immigrants, Blacks or Whites face prejudice and discrimination, and in case of Blacks-especially of African descent, the journey can be treacherous. Many of us face racism in search of jobs, housing, public accommodation, and in education. This autobiography is just one man’s journey.
