About the Book

What if the world’s greatest civilization was hidden in plain sight? The African Diaspora: Going It Alone Against Conventional Wisdom is a bold and unflinching exploration of Africa’s untold history and the global forces that shaped its present. Dr. Simon Wamono blends personal journey with sharp historical insight to uncover how colonialism, misinformation, and forced migration fractured a once-thriving legacy and how the African diaspora can rise beyond it. From ancient kingdoms to modern struggles, this book reclaims Africa voice, challenges deeply rooted myths, and calls for unity, critical thinking, and cultural pride. More than a history lesson, it is a roadmap for healing, empowerment, and a new African future.
