About the Book

With faith in God and the power of prayer I have been able to continue fighting cancer. If you have ever faced any challenge in this life, then you understand what it takes to face a trial. Your faith is the only thing that you will have to overcome to have the strength to get up every day and continue to be a productive person. My story is one of many, but I have learned over the years to surrender seeking the peace that come along with trust and spiritual growth.
This is the sixth book in a series of writings about my cancer journey. I have journaled my day-to-day activity of life and serving in a military community. The little things that make up the big picture of a person fighting for life. I have been told twice that there is nothing we can do for you and the type of cancer you have has a life span of 3 to 5 years. In all that time my faith has not wavered in God and in trusting that He will give me the strength for His purpose.

About the Author

It has been 10 years since my diagnosis fighting with my cancer journey. In that time, I have been blessed to pour into many people as the Sports Director serving the community at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The challenges I face on a daily basis has given me a platform to uplift soldiers, family members, and my military community.
God has allowed me to carry my cross and be a light to those who are fighting some type of challenge. We all fight something that challenges us every day, issues that challenge our faith. It is these challenges that give us the courage to seek comfort. My trust and perseverance has been the foundation of overcoming what I cannot control relying on God’s grace to see it through.
