About the Author

Rubin Pillay, PhD, MD, MBA, is a physician-executive, global thought leader in healthcare innovation, and award-winning educator. He is the author of thirteen books, including Code to Care: A Leader’s Guide to Implementing Responsible AI in Healthcare and The AI Prescription. Dr. Pillay founded the world’s largest AI in Medicine academic program, created the FutureMed Academy (now deployed in six countries), and developed ComplyAI, a governance platform translating academic frameworks into practical tools. He holds doctoral degrees in medicine, business, and health systems, and serves as a Professor of Medicine and Executive Director of The Heersink Institute for Biomedical Innovation, the world’s largest AI in Medicine training program.
