FROG-LEAP ZHANLUE (strategy) Taiwan’s bold venture to capture the world’s emerging transformation, to digital information systems, and their dominance in semiconductor manufacturing is credited taking place in the 1980’s, however it all started in the late 1960’s under the leadership of General Wang Shuming, better known as General Half-ear. Frog-Leap Zhanlue was his brilliant plan to capture the human assets from The People’s Republic of China’s secret ‘think-tank’ on Hainan Island, thereby jump-starting Taiwan’s emerging electronic industries.
