One Mother’s Day while downsizing unnecessaries for inevitable change, Ma finds her decades-old notes about the family’s younger years and reads to the end, remembering. However, more recent family notes, letters, and iPhone and email messages attest to the rest of the story and a different, unplanned ever after. The story in grins, tears, and wrinkles is written of, for, and mostly by “the kids,” now seniors themselves. In the beginning, it reveals rambunctious siblings tumbling through childhood and parents stumbling through adulthood.
