About the Book

This is a story about a little lamb that has great adventures with her grandma and goes off to sleep, only to wake with an earache. Her mother and grandmother take her to see Ms. Mary, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and her healthcare provider. The book walks through a typical visit at the pediatric office and how Ms. Mary examines Little Lily. With gentle treatment, guidance and reassurance, Little Lily will soon be back to sailing the high seas.

About the Author

Mary B. Hammock is a graduate of Emory University and a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After working for many years, she opened her own pediatric practice in Marietta, Georgia. Ms. Mary loves her career, watching her patients grow and making a difference in families’ lives. She lives in Kennesaw with her loving husband and four young children. Her favorite time is in the evening when all the children cuddle in the bed with her to read bedtime stories – sometimes it is one book, sometimes it is four.
