About the Author

Festus Ogunbitan was born in Ibadan Nigeria to an Ibadan prominent printer Elder Samuel Ogunniyi Ogunbitan the founder of Temidayo Printing Press. Festus grew up in Ibadan before he moved to America through Diversity Visa in 1998. During his stay in California, he obtained a master’s degree in Liberal Arts. He began to write European and American literatures by adapting history into epideictic speeches. His first European novel is Cincinnatus who turned a Roman defeat into victory in the Battle of Mount Algidus, and an episode on Homer’s Odyssey, A Tale on Homer’s Odyssey. Festus continued from here to apply the courage and valiancy of Cincinnatus on the stories of all American presidents in a project titled ‘President Day Epideictic Speeches. His titles on American presidents’ birthday are: Epic of Being George Washington, Killing Abraham Lincoln, Epic of John Adams, and Epic of Thomas Jefferson.
