About the Book

Alice: The Talking Christmas Tree is based on an actual Christmas decoration. The tree was in a department store window for many years. When the store closed, Alice’s whereabouts was unknown. This book tells her story from the factory to her triumphant return to Wheeling, West Virginia.

About the Author

Diane Robbins grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education with a minor in special education from West Liberty State College, a master of arts degree in special education from West Virginia University, and a computer technology certification from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She taught for more than thirty-eight years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, and sewing. This is her fifth book to be published.
