About the Book

This book includes numerous speculative notions for extreme relativistic rocket vehicle applications. Volume 9, as are the previous volumes in this series, are not for the faint of heart or those otherwise not open to new approaches to advanced space travel. Some of the content is indeed highly speculative, but a careful, balanced approach is provided that acknowledges the numerous caveats that need to be met in order for the proposed methods to work.

About the Author

I have been involved in writing and free-lance research in the subject of relativistic astronautics for about 6 years. I received an undergraduate degree in physics from George Mason University in June 2001. I went on to enroll in some graduate level coursework in physics and mathematics at GMU and worked as co-inventor on solar energy and other resource harnessing apparatus. Eventually, I would go on to obtain several patents in the related fields of invention but my coinventor and I decided to cease working on further refinements of our inventions due to budgetary constraints. So, looking for some other professional work to busy myself with during the economic hard times that had fallen my country of citizenship, the United States, I decided to delve more into the field of space travel and eventually ended up as an author on the subject.
