About the Book

In this Volume 2, we explore chemical rockets for both Newtonian and relativistic flight. The contents include numerous scenarios of little considered and/or overlooked chemical rocket fuels. Chemical rocket fuels likely have great usefulness even as we acquire the technology for interstellar relativistic space-flight. Accordingly, it is plausible that other civilizations inhabiting various extra-solar planets may be adverse to we humans using high powered nuclear propulsion systems near their solar systems. As someone who prefers powerful nuclear propulsion methods, I believe exotic chemical fuels and propulsion methods can also enable us to achieve ultra-relativistic velocities. Thus, I welcome my anticipated readership to take a dive into the fascinating contents of this book especially those who are intimidated or otherwise off-put by my usual writing on nuclear powered starships. The reader will find some of the contents of this book at simply the descriptive level with some calculated results through highly advanced mathematical treatments of chemical rocket fuel scenarios. Thus, the book has a bit of material for all levels of education and for the lay-persons and theoreticians alike.
