About the Author

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Brown University where he was Phi Beta Kappa, All American Honorable Mention in football and senior class president he served as a Navy carrier fighter pilot, decorated for actions in the Pacific. In the Okinawa campaign he was shot down by the Japanese but was rescued by an American submarine in the ocean off Ishigaki. After the war he successfully operated his own real estate development firm before joining PaineWebber where he became a Vice President.
