“Domestic Violence: The Circle Called Love” takes an in-depth look at domestic violence and partner abuse in today’s society. Based on Sue W. Kramer’s 1998 award-winning newspaper series, “In the Name of Love,” “Domestic Violence” examines abusive relationships from several viewpoints including those of the responding police officer, the victim, and the abuser. Utilizing the victims’ own horror stories, case studies, police reports, and domestic violence statistics, it takes a comprehensive look at the abusive relationship and sheds new light on the behaviors that define domestic violence. This unique view of the abusive relationship and the far-reaching analysis of the behaviors of the abuser will not only enhance the understanding of domestic violence within professional circles, but help the lay person, and the victims of domestic violence in particular, recognize and understand the intrinsic behaviors that shape domestic violence.

About the Author

Sue W. Kramer is an award-winning journalist who lives in Lambertville, NJ with her husband, Frank. She taught school for many years before turning to writing as a career. She is the author of two novels, Madison and Lynette. Sue loves cooking, reading, crafts, painting, and musical theater.
