Les and Rusty Kearns lead an idyllic life in their riverside community of Lambertville, NJ. Operating their small business keeps them active during the day, while their nights are filled with evening walks around town, musical theater, fine dining, and the antics of their resident feline gang: Madison, Ché, and Bailey.

But all this is about to change when a fire breaks out on Delaware Ave.

As Lambertville´s fire chief, Les is about to embark on a journey that will take him deep into the mind of an arsonist. And the residents of Delaware Ave. will find themselves living in a state of constant fear--as home, after home, goes up in flames!

The race to catch the arsonist is on; and as the investigation intensifies, Les finds himself with more than just the arson analysis to worry about. With the evidence mounting, Les must summon all of his inner-strength to face the answer to one question--is his best friend, Roger, the arsonist who is setting the fires that will eventually end in murder?

While Les agonizes over the tough decisions he must make, Rusty is also facing some challenges. Who is the mysterious Mr. Knight? Is he who he appears to be, or is he using Rusty as a pawn in a sinister game?
