About the Book
This story told to me by my father about a southern family that had accumulated much wealth through many dishonest
schemes and abuse not caring who they hurt. Usually, the landlord dies from the sins they commit, leaving their wealth for
their children to squander. "That Woman From D´Lo" shows that something good and wonderful can arise from the ashes
of the pits of evil deeds.
My father, Clarence Nathan Whitfield, a handsome, sensitive man, adored by my mother, Della, was the strength that kept
our family keenly aware there were others on this planet to deal with. That is the reason, this book is dedicated to them along with
my wonderful wife, Myrtle.
