About the Author

A native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, J Mel Brooks holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Maryland College Park in Therapeutic Recreation and works as a Recreation Therapist at a Forensic Psychiatric Facility in Jessup, Maryland. He co-host MLV Sundays with Veronica, an open mic venue a Edens Lounge in Baltimore, MD. He has graced the stages in Chicago, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Poet By Nature is his second book of Poetry, soon to be followed by a third book of Love Poems.
