About the Book

Now more than ever, some inspired people want to reach out and help people through the building of a nonprofit entity, organization or agency yet do not know how to begin. This book serves as a primer guide for taking people through the process of how to start, sustain and build a nonprofit entity, organization, or agency. It highlights the personal challenges founders will face in getting their projects started and challenges them to define their motives and mission purposes for the creation of their start-up projects. Moreover, this book examines the key process associated with developing a rudimentary corporate body for filing articles of incorporation papers—a standard necessary for filing a completed a 501C3 application in order to obtain a tax-exempt status so that grants might be procured through various philanthropic sources. Lastly, in an extensive appendices section, this book provides many examples of some of those critical steps for building a nonprofit entity, organization, or agency that includes articles of incorporation, logo development, website examples, marketing strategies, letters of collaboration to community members, sample grants, etc. It is my wish that those persons seeking to develop such a nonprofit investment will find this book helpful and useful as a knowledgeable and inspiring reference for helping many other persons in need who will benefit from their creation of a committed nonprofit entity, organization, or agency.
