“Well! Well! It has been a very long day, and it was not fun because you kept finding us. It is much more fun when you cannot find us,” Pebbles replied. “Oh dear, I think my magic has disappeared. Quick, you go hide, and I will count to five and maybe this time I will not be able to see you in my mind.” Pebbles and Izzy ran and hid again. Gully pretended not to know where they were and buzzed around with a frown, saying to himself, “Oh dear, where could Pebbles and Izzy have disappear to?” Then they all heard a voice say, “Here they are; Gully, are you going blind.” They all stood up with their hands on their hips and with a frown and looked at Blueberry and said, “Really! We give up; let just go.” Gully, Pebbles and Izzy headed back to the beach. Blueberry yelled out, with her hands in the air, “What! I was just trying to help.”

About the Book
Pebbles and Izzy is a collection of small books for children who are just learning to read. The books are full of wonderful characters and amazing little stories to help children find out how much fun reading can be and to help them use their own imaginations as they meet all of Pebble and Izzy's friends and family. The books are full of fun and laugher.
About the Author
Lynette Collins writes in her spare time, works in her family business, and loves spending time with her family and friends. Lynette, as a child, struggled with learning and carried a lot of shame. She feels and understands how hard it can be not being able to read and write as well as some. But with hard work and perseverance and determination, she works hard to make it easier for children like she had been, children who want to be able to pick a book up and get lost in their own imagination. She hopes children will see that you can do anything you set their minds to with a little hard work.
