Life is unpredictable. Each one of us will go through the same cycle sooner or later, and there is no escape. Losing a mother or a father at a young age is an unbearable feeling, and nothing can fill the emptiness in our hearts. However, God gave us a heart that has four rooms. The first room is for our parents. The second room is for our grandparents. The third room is for the family that we’ll create when we grow older, and the fourth room is for our friends and special guests, who, from time to time, will stop by and spend time with us or else cross paths with us during the journey of our life. Residing in these four rooms is plenty of love and kindness. We need to use them to our own advantages, and with persistence, we can live on and be anything that our hearts desire.

About the Author

Boune Ome Rattanavong was born and raised in the south part of Laos. Until the age of twenty, He and his family migrated to the United States after the end of the Vietnam war. He Graduated from Lycoming College and Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A former Financial Analyst for one of the fortune 100 companies. Live in Potomac Falls, State of Virginia with his wife Vongchit and their three children; Jack, Eugenia, and Eclipse.
