About the Book

Puggle the Echidna is the first in a series of Australian Themed children’s stories. Puggle the Echidna is exploring the river bank when a fright separates him from his mother. This is the story of how his mother with the help of the native rainforest creatures help fight off a hungry crocodile to reunite mother and child.

About the Author

My name is Julie Gobby. I have suffered from dyslexia but have overcome it because of my love or reading and writing. I have written all of my life and have a fascination with the beauty of words and how written in a certain way can influence the reader profoundly. My goal is to write children's books to entice the child to want to know more about the words used and the meaning behind the word.
