A writer by heart, with roots grounded in fi cti on prose Douglas has fi nally made it back to those roots. Aft er years of pursuing other interests he came back to writi ng, but before he had gott en back to his fi rst passion for writi ng stories he had a few stops to make. First he wrote, directed and produced the play “The Love Story.” Though it was a small producti on the response inspired him to conti nue his writi ng. He wrote in solitude with a long hiatus before writi ng his fi rst book “The Diary…” which was a collecti on of over 200 poems. His latest book “Hidden World” is not only a return to his core and the beginning genre of his writi ngs; it’s also a small window into his past work. Hidden World may only be the beginning as it just one third of the original work. Trilogy?

About the Author
Author's Cover Bio Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Doug moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota at an early age. In his short life, he has done professional photography, coached high-school basketball (5X State Champion - 2 from playing, 3 as an assistant coach), written and directed a play “The Love Story, ” and performed at Open Mics (comedy and spoken-word). These events and many in-between made the phrase “More Stories Than The Highway Patrol” seem like a perfect description for his life. He is currently working on three new books. Fittingly as different as his past endeavors have been, so are the genres of his future books!
