About the Book

I’m consumed by you. My ipod no longer plays music, at first it only plays words about you. Til I now hear your voice singing through my headphones. The shades on the tv are now only vibrant colors of your persona. The water that runs in my bath is now just the fluid motion of your body. As the wind is just a reminder of what you constantly steal from me. Time is quickly devoured, as like me, it is consumed by you. Each scent the breeze provides just envelops my mind into a part of you. Your hair, your neck, your embrace only leaves more of you to consume my mind, body, soul. As you completely consume me, all I can think about is your lips, as mine touch this glass to quench my thirst for you. I see you in everything, everywhere. I now am more hungry than ever. So as you consume what runs through my veins, be my dessert so I may consume you too...

About the Author

Author's Cover Bio Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Doug moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota at an early age. In his short life, he has done professional photography, coached high-school basketball (5X State Champion - 2 from playing, 3 as an assistant coach), written and directed a play “The Love Story, ” and performed at Open Mics (comedy and spoken-word). These events and many in-between made the phrase “More Stories Than The Highway Patrol” seem like a perfect description for his life. He is currently working on three new books. Fittingly as different as his past endeavors have been, so are the genres of his future books!
