About the Book

Four generations of Americans in one family face up to the challenges and traumas brought about by the country's involvement in Twentieth Century wars.  The emphasis is on the impact of the wars fallout on personal lives. Each of the families adjusts differently, adapting to the political and social pressures of the times as well as to the interpersonal differences inherent in family life.
