About the Book

The coffee table book, Harlan & Chilea, presents as-we-were reflections of youth. The albumblatt reminds us that no matter our age, we seek the young in the other whether we want to or not, whether it exists or not.

The children story, Harlan & Chilea in the Kindergarten of the Pulpit Children, is a primer of obvious common sense scenarios, experienced by children in a world far away. While these Hollyarkian children have no parents, benign source media guides them, coerces, warns of danger, and tasks thinking. For those nomads paying attention, there is the opportunity of sublimated life; otherwise, we all wish for them what is not possible on Hollyarkia: caring, loving parents.

About the Author

Born in Newark New Jersey, January 3, 1943, the author is a graduate of St. Louis University, and is currently retired from The Boeing Company. Recent publishing achievements (Xlibris) include the Pond Series Young Adult books introducing the new genre, bio-eco-sci-fi. The four Pond Series books offer fiction-fantasy entertainment with under-pinning themes from the continued dying Western Culture. Lawrence lives in Los Angeles where he continues to pitch bio-eco theme fiction. Endangered species such as Grand Cypress, Whales, bio-systems and abused children, are high on his list of worthy writing material.
