About the Book
Written for the author’s children as a way to keep them connected when divorce caused them to live far apart, THE CURIOUS CREATURES describes the goings on among a community of fantasy characters who struggle to get along with each other while differences keep getting in their way. Humorously told, each of these fourteen stories has a lesson about living to teach – about braving fear, about playing jokes that aren’t funny, about being greedy, about competing to be better than others, for example. Most of all, these stories are about creatures helping each other, and how difficult helping can be.
