About the Book

This delightful Holiday Fairy Tale is a Picture Book for ages 4 to 8. The story was awarded second prize in the Stepping Stones National Contest for Children's Fiction. Cover and interior illustrations are oil paintings by the Author. Young readers' minds and eyes will be opened to the ups and downs of life, the value of friendship and love, the joy of a family Christmas, the happiness of helping others, saving our natural resources, and the magical world of fantasy.

About the Author

Edie Schmoll has won awards for poetry (American Mensa National Award, 2008), lyrics, and children’s fi ction. She is a staff writer and cover artist for Inland Empire Mensa, a professional musician (www.trinityhemet.org, Edie’s Page), music educator, and composer. Her biography is featured in “Who’s Who” publications; and poetry in the 2008 chapbook, Serenade - Word Songs.
