This book includes a blend of old and modern paradigms on the subject of a spiritual and immortal soul. Accordingly, the contents of the book generally assume a Scholastic theological notion of the soul augmented with set-theory style speculations on the existential size and significance of the soul. Also included are more modern scientific approaches to the notion of a spiritual and immortal soul. Thus Mr. Essig provides a somewhat unique and fascinating exploration that is a blend of the above philosophical approaches to concepts of the soul.

About the Author

James Essig is a theoretical physicist who also is interested in the subject of the soul. From his early childhood, James had an interest in the concept of the soul. So, Mr Essig has an unusual approach in that he is not afraid to speculate and write about the notion of a spiritual and immortal soul from a generally Catholic perspective. James is also a member of the Knights Of Columbus.
