About the Book

The Reunion is the eleventh book that Mrs. Beckley has written for Xlibris. This book introduces the reader to all the previous characters from her ten books. Barry, Grammy, Cheryl, Pam, Jodi, Sister Bridget, and Father David plan the 70th Anniversary Celebration Weekend to be held in May 2019. Some of the Middle School Students from St. John the Baptist Catholic Elementary also help the adults in the planning of this 70th Anniversary Celebration Weekend. It is a weekend that will be remembered by everyone who attended the school both past and present. I hope you all have enjoyed Peggy, The Three-Some Book 2, The Writer’s Corner Book 3, The Golden Nugget Book 4, Emily Book 5, This Is As Good As It Gets Book 6, The 1940 Diary Book 7, Pockets Book 8, Pam and Jodi’s Journey Book 9, The Journal Book 10 and The Reunion Book 11. This book has been written for my friends and family especially Angela, Bobbie, Aunt Edwina, Gwen, Jane, Jean, Kate, Peggy, Renee, Susan, Father Andy, Father Don, Sister Mary DeChantel, my parents Fred and Elizabeth, and all my classmates from NPHS the class of 1966. Special thanks goes to Miss Jean A. Houck, Fred, Lynne and Robert. You gave me the idea for the 70th Anniversary Celebration Weekend. It was fashioned after our 50th Class Reunion at NPHS for the Class of 1966. If any of you are wondering if I fashioned any of the characters after me, the answer is yes. There is a part of me in all the characters. A lot of the experiences in this book happened to my family and me, and in my various classrooms. This is an interactive book. I hope all of you learned something from it and enjoyed it as well.

All of her students learned to Sign for the Deaf whether it was in her classroom or in her music classes.
