About the Book

This book began by providing documents on different areas of dog training, behavior and management to my clients. As I started to put documents together I soon realized that a book was beginning to take shape. This is a starting point of building dog understanding with people and their dogs.

About the Author

Graham has 31 years of experience working as a guide dog instructor where he trained and matched dogs with visually impaired and blind handlers. Graham draws from his experience of working out in the real world and helping dogs apply their skills in all situations. Graham has taken that experience and is assisting pet dog owners with creating a better understanding of how to train their dogs through building a strong relationship and consistent training. Graham considers himself a comprehensive trainer and will incorporate methods and techniques that work for both the dog and owner as a team. Graham puts his focus on repetition to achieve positive, long term results. Graham believes dogs are similar to athletes who put in hundreds of hours in order to be excellent at what they do. Dogs build tremendous confidence through consistent repetition and then rely on that training to help them remain comfortable in a majority of situations.
