About the Author

Jean Edwards grew up in Maine, and then married a career Navy man. When taking piano lessons at age fifty, she became interested in writing lyrics for music. This operetta is the result of her love of poetry, music and her lifetime association with the navy. She has written many novels, poetry books and children’s books, but this operetta using all her experiences has been a joyful endeavor.
