About the Book

THE COWBOY BOB TREASURY has its origin in bedtime stories for our own children and grandchildren. I made them up as I went along, never expecting this sleepy-time activity to reach book form. But as my granddaughter, Martha, grew a bit older she persuaded me to make a book of Cowboy Bob stories. I agreed to her proposal, provided she do the illustrating. As she began work on the illustrations she enlisted the help of her grandmother, my wife, Doris, to do the coloring and finishing as required. We have chosen the horse corrals at Colter Bay in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming as the setting for our picture, taken by Martha’s father, Dan. Martha and her family, as well as Doris and I, live in Bozeman, Montana, not far from where the cowboys once roamed.

About the Author

A five decade Montanan, Paul Krebill has a fascination for the gold mining era in the “Treasure State,” as well as a concern for the current pressures to bring commercial development into some of the pristine natural areas of Montana. Having spent some extended time in New Zealand he found some similar history in New Zealand’s South Island. RETURN TO ARROW RIVER weaves together these threads of history from these widely separated lands. He has previously published six novels set in rural Montana. Descriptions of these may be found at www.Xlibris.com/PaulKrebill.html Paul and his wife, Doris, were born in the Midwest, and moved to rural Wyoming in the early 1950's and to Montana in 1956. They live in Bozeman, Montana.
