About the Book

My stories are a conglomeration of different fictitious people and events, put together with the intent of giving its owners a source of enjoyment and relaxation. Propping your feet up everyday for a half hour is very good for blood pressure. Hopefully my words give you a chuckle, a new thought, maybe nostalgia and not too long to give you boredom. As a child I would read when the stories were short. I was born with a case of boredom.

About the Author

This book is dedicated to my beautiful dog Magpies. She had winged feet and could jump straight up from the floor and land on my husband’s workbench. To me she was still a puppy at sixteen when she died, this year 2005. She was very interested in my fiction stories like my husband, John R. Vansant, my brother, Robert L. Myers and his wife Vicki--laughter is good for the heart. Vicki has been wonderful with her experienced help on the computer. My mother, Kathryn Elizabeth listened--occasionally. As time passed they all hoped they would live long enough to see my stories in print. In 1996 when I first started writing, I studied with Correspondence Schools. I now have five diplomas and attended Community College. Writers Digest Diploma was my greatest source of help with my writing endeavors.
