About the Book
"Chilblains" is stunningly sensitive, and delicate to a woman´s emotions. The setting for this book, in Mazatlan, Mexico, is as warm and beautiful as the romance the book´s Heroine experiences when she is finally able to release the Chilblains of her very essence as her heart is opened for the love all women truly deserve. "Chilblains" is a story of despair, of finding hope of finding love. And how one woman finds all she thought to be lost and frozen in the icy wasteland of her emotions as she escapes to the place of her dreams to start reliving her life in a setting as close to paradise on earth as she could find. But to lose the Chilblains she had to find the most precious thing she believed to be forever lost. "CHILBLAINS" Within every woman is a place of balance where all of who she is becomes as one. As she traveles her Earth Journey there will be many asking much and returning little. As the years walk on, she may question why, and realize no one has that answer. Balance becomes precarious; the edges of her soul begin to chill. This is when the "Chilblains" find her and layers of ice become her protection. To have what is rightfully hers, she must regain balance. This will come if she will but listen to the winds that blow, the waters that talk, and sometimes a simple voiced, "Hello." About the Author: Barbara L. Wyckoff Being a writer, a published professional writer, was my dream of a lifetime. As life in Colorado gave me many roads to travel, I guarded, and carefully nurtured this dream as it became a true reality with five published works prior to "Chilblains." Life has been my inspiration for reaching a little beyond where I was told I would stay and who I was to become. It was this reaching that gave me the power to keep searching for my dream. It has always been there. I just had to keep believing what can happen, if we but let it.
