About the Book

Barbara’s works take you back and causes you to remember details most of us have forgotten in our busy lives we lead today. Barbara started writing at age 14. Poems, stories and papers for school English class and has expanded into books, tributes, inspirational and Christian works for friends and families. The written word captures time and suspends it forever to read again and again. Travel back with her through choices that sometimes cause you to go left or right, but each one helps you to get to Gods blueprint for us all. Living through the 1970’s it was the start of the feminist movement. We as teenagers and young women were told we could be what ever we wanted to be. No matter what choice you made it effected you one way or another. Come sit with me, take time to take a deep breath, laugh, cry and release some of those choices.

About the Author

Barbara Beck-Elam was born 1959 in a small town that was richly filled with characters intertwined in her stories of adolescence. This town was supported by many churches and different religions that anchored this community.
