About the Book

This is my first book of any kind. I have been messing with the idea of publishing a book of my work, just always put it off. Now I have decided to pursue this venture. This is a compilation of my poems I have written over the years. They range from love, thoughts, as well as the beauty that is always around us. Through walks in nature, to what was outside my door, all what God has given us to see and experience. I hope you, as a reader, is able to experience this through my words as well.

About the Author

I have lived all my life in south Louisiana. As a Fire Fighter by trade, I see life in a different perspective than most people. After dealing with suffering as well as lost, I need a release from all I have seen. I use poetry and photography as this release. I picture vistas reaching for the stars as I sit in awe as to it’s magnificence. I gaze to the stars wondering of anything is gazing back at me. Looking for beauty in places others never think of looking. It’s these moments I cherish and I attempt to capture here is this volume.
