About the Book

This is my second book of original poetry I have written. This is a continuous of a dream you can say in that I have always wanted to have a book published of my own work, so to have a second book is by far more than I ever expected to do. The poems here cover a range of topics or emotions, with attempts at short essay type writings. I hope you enjoy this book and may I hope it brings you happiness and enjoyment.

About the Author

I have lived all my life in south Louisiana. As a Fire Fighter by trade, I see life in a different perspective than most people. After dealing with suffering as well as lost, I need a release from all I have seen. I use poetry and photography as this release. I picture vistas reaching for the stars as I sit in awe as to it’s magnificence. I gaze to the stars wondering of anything is gazing back at me. Looking for beauty in places others never think of looking. It’s these moments I cherish and I attempt to capture here is this volume.
