About the Book

About the Book: Be it spring, summer, fall, or winter…no matter where we go we can sense the love of God. Nothing on this earth is more beautiful that nature, for in it we find all the necessary elements to overcome our besetting thoughts and attitudes. There are no sounds more powerful than that of rolling thunder, or the turbulence of an angry sea. And yet, none can be more relaxing than the sound of autumn leaves being crushed beneath one’s feet. How delightful is the taste of fruit when plucked from a growing vine, or ice cold water after a hard day’s work! Taking time to smell the roses relieves anxiety better than any prescribed drug, and man has never developed energy that warms us like the sun, or cools us like a mountain stream. Watch an autumn sunset, then see the moon rise in the sky. Gaze upon the icy peaks of a snow-covered mountain, or stare from its lofty heights into green valleys below. Beholding nature in surroundings such as these gives any viewer a greater appreciation for the gift of sight. “I Sense the Love of God in Seasons” is a collection of verse written by the author over a period of sixty years. Some verses came to mind while she traveled down the highway, some were inspired by friends and family. Many times she burned the midnight oil to write down lines that came to her in dreams. No inspiration, however, has been greater than the scriptures found in the Holy Bible. In her book, she uses many Bible verses to compliment her own.
