About the Book

Prepare yourself for a rough ride into the end of this century. It will be dramatic, bloody, and mind-boggling. The world crisis and conflicts will deepen due to the pressure of growing populations, the scarcity of resources, pollution, and climate change. This chaos will result in some losers among them democracy, liberal humanism, and human rights. They will get their wings cut off and won’t play a major role in the future to come. The winners will probably go for a new global faith and democrature, sustainable policies, upgraded humans, and trimmed-up civilization. This transformation is inevitable if we wish to grant our progenies a fair chance to prevail and evolve further beyond our semiprimitive stage. Almost all human beings consider Homo sapiens to be indispensable, but this is a plain delusion. Since there is only one thing that is certain, everything is temporary, these views show the built-in limitations of human reasoning and long-term thinking. The future of intelligent life lies beyond us!

About the Author

Born in Israel in 1945, Benjamin Katz fought in two wars, settled in Denmark in 1972, and studied psychology at the University of Copenhagen. He has been practicing as a clinical psychologist since 1980, treating more than thirty thousand clients throughout the years. He is the author of The Green Man in the Orchard, The Fifth Narrative, The Wiser Ascent of Icarus (2004), Global Psychology: Solving Eddie’s Dilemma (2008), I, the Reluctant Creator (a novel, 2012), and A Paradigm for a New Civilization (2013). Two aspects attracted his attention in the last twenty years: the deteriorating mental and physical state of human beings adjusting to modern life or rejecting it and the state of the planet that goes from bad to worse. Once he had figured out that there are weighty reasons for the mental and physical health decline of so many people, beyond personal and social problems, he found his mission: to define a new paradigm that aims at eliminating these factors and a new global faith aiming to curb human division and stupidity. He went on extending mainstream psychology with politics, lifestyle, economy, demography, ecology, and evolving further beyond Homo sapiens on a global scale. He added to it other crucial aspects of our well-being, such as the elimination of modern life’s stressors, the deterioration of global ecology, consumerism as a lifestyle, unsustainable global economy and demography, and even unsustainable spirituality. In this book, he designed a system with both new faith and strategic steps aiming at our further evolvement in order to reach the utmost meaning with intelligent life like us.
