About the Author

John W. Bruner was born and raised in Carroll, Iowa. In 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Connie Schreck, and they raised two girls, Christine and Jennifer. Both daughters married hometown boys and have given their folks seven grandchildren. John was a high school and junior high school principal, teacher, and coach for sixteen years. In 1982, he entered the financial services industry where he currently manages a full-blown practice, specializing in retirement income planning. According to John, he has too much love and too much fun in his life to even think about retiring, so he has alerted readers to watch for a sequel sometime in 2010.
