About the Author

John Bruner was born and raised in Carroll, IA. In 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Connie Schreck, and they raised two girls, Christine and Jennifer. Both daughters married hometown boys and have given their folks seven terrific grandkids. John was a high school and junior high school principal, teacher and coach for 16 years. In 1982, he entered the financial services industry where he currently manages a full-blown practice, specializing in retirement income planning. BONK is John’s second book. If he goes for a third, his readers will be the first to know!
