About the Book

Summertime has come upon River Hollow and it is 4th of July weekend. Everyone celebrates the 4th of July Spectacular at the Stevens family lakehouse, but all that goes away when shots and chaos come from the other side of the lake, causing screams and terror from every corner. While everything is happening, 16-year-old Becca Williamson frantically looks for her best friends, Samantha Cole and Kyle Stevens. Through the journey of this small town spectacle, Becca finds mystery, danger, and shocking revelations that not only make her question everything in River Hollow, but the reader as well.

About the Author

Jaclyn Clark is twenty-year-old college student, who has always had an influential approach when it came to reading and writing. From an early age, she developed a “deep” love for writing and being creative in all aspects. Jaclyn, is someone who wants to reach her goals and eventually become a child and family social worker in the future. Because of this, Jaclyn is someone who loves helping others, treating people with respect and dignity, while understanding that “we all have a story to tell in our lives”. Even after her mother’s death, she still tries to live her “best” life with happiness and have an optimistic perspective, when it comes to meeting new people and experiencing new opportunities that she is given. Through the reading of River Hollow, Jaclyn hopes in return, that young minds can escape “everyday life” and enjoy the “adventure, twists and turns, and a little danger”, that life can sometimes bring upon us, when we least expect it.
